Accepts NCSP as a route to school based credential

Graduation from a NASP approved program meets training standards and is required for out of state applicants

SEA Credential:
School Psychologist (Standard Certificate): Requires either completion of a regionally accredited school psychology program in Oklahoma or a graduate program meeting NASP standards. The NCSP credential fulfills the testing and program requirements for school psychologist certification. 

Continuing Education: The Standard Certificate is renewed every 5 years, although does not require any professional development or continuing education.

Scope of Practice: The SEA credential does not allow for private practice outside the schools. To practice outside of schools, one must apply through the Oklahoma Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
