Registration Information

NASP registration has closed for the 2019 PPI. The George Washington University still has available slots for continuing education credit. If you are interested in the five day experience, please contact Angela Heishman.

Your cost for the 2019 GW/NASP PPI depends upon which training you take, when you register, and if you take it for NASP Approved CPD Credit or GW Graduate Semester Credit.

NASP Approved Credit:

NASP Member Early Bird:
(Through May 27)
NASP Member Full Rate:
(May 28-June 30)
Non-Member & Late Registration:
(July 1- July 14)

GW Graduate Semester Credit:

The 5-day advanced training is also available for 1 or 3 graduate semester credit(s). All GW graduate credit participants must enroll through GW. Please contact Dr. Carol Kochhar-Bryant for more information and pricing.

2-Day Special Topic Focus

NASP members and non-members may only register for the 2-day Special Topic Focus if they completed a previous PPI between 2010-2018. Two-Day Special Topic participants are welcome to join the Day 2 afternoon session, which will have a featured speaker addressing the theme of the PPI, and our advocacy efforts on Capitol Hill on Day 3 at no additional cost. We do ask that all 2-Day Special Topic participants interested in attending either the Day 2 featured speaker or the Capitol Hill day notify us in advance that they will be joining the group so that we can ensure that you receive all information needed. Additionally, we ask that 2-Day Special Topic participants share information about all Capitol Hill appointments scheduled and coordinate your visits with other PPI participants that may be from your state.

What Does My Registration Include?

Registration for the 3-day and 5-day participants includes access to the online materials, all printed materials, a networking reception, selected meals, and a $10 Metro ticket to enable transportation to/from Capitol Hill. Registration for the 2-Day Special Topic Focus includes breakfast, lunch and a snack each day, handouts and materials, and access to the online materials website. Participants will earn NASP-approved Continuing Professional Development credit or GW graduate semester credit.

Training Material Access

Room 310 is a "smart" classroom, providing Wi-fi internet access and power sources. All participants are encouraged to bring a laptop or tablet in order to access the handouts and materials.

How Many CPDs Can I Earn?

Three-Day participants will earn 14 CPDs. Five-Day participants will earn 26.75 CPDs. Two-Day Special Topic participants will earn 12.75.

Changes and Cancellations

PPI registration refunds (less a $50 administrative fee) will be granted until June 21, 2019. No refunds will be issued following this date. All cancellations and/or change requests must be submitted in writing to Caden Fabbi.

PPI participants must communicate changes and cancellation of room reservations directly with the hotel and are subject to hotel policy.

There are a limited number of complimentary registration scholarships available to school psychology graduate students and state school psychology professional organizations. Visit Scholarship Opportunities for more information.
