After a full day of sessions, enjoy a variety of fun events and networking opportunities. In addition to the offerings below, a full list of special events will be posted with the educational sessions list in January 2020.

Exhibit Hall

Exhibit HallSpeak with representatives from top companies at the largest and most comprehensive trade show for school psychologists, and travel back to your district with information about products and services to support your practice. The NASP Publications Center and NASP Connect booth also are located in the Exhibit Hall.

Red Cross Training (SE001)

Red Cross TrainingThe American Red Cross and NASP are cosponsoring an interactive, 90-minute session on disaster mental health work during the convention. This course is a prerequisite for participants who would like to become Red Cross Disaster Mental Health volunteers. This special event requires preregistration and a $10 materials and processing fee.

On-Site Mentoring

Mentor ProgramSign up for the Convention Mentor Program to connect with an experienced school psychology professional and meet for an hour on site. Students may sign up as mentees only, whereas all other members may sign up as mentors and/or mentees.

New Member Meet & Greet

New Member Meet and GreetNew members who joined NASP since March 1, 2019 will receive a special invitation to the New Member Meet and Greet. This will be an opportunity to network with fellow new members as well as interact with some of NASP’s volunteer leaders.

Work Opportunities

Work at the ConventionGraduate students can work as Convention Assistants to receive a $75 registration fee refund in appreciation of their service. All attendees may volunteer as Workshop Monitors and may attend the workshop they monitor free of charge and earn documented CPD. Registration for these positions opens at 12:30 p.m. EDT on Friday, November 1, 2019. Slots will fill within a matter of hours, so set an alarm on your phone.
