Legislative Information for Students

The field of school psychology is currently at a crossroads.  Upcoming changes to legislation have the potential to alter the face of the profession.  As students we are currently being trained in best practices that will hopefully prepare us to thrive in whatever path the profession takes.  However, many students and professionals are confused by the proposed changes and the uncertain impact on their jobs.

NASP currently has numerous online resources explaining the proposed changes in the legislation as well as updating members on their progress.  As students, it is important to remain up-to-date of the changes in special education and how they might affect the practice of school psychology.
