(May 16-June 30)
(July 1- July 11)

2-Day Special Topic Focus
NASP members and non-members may only register for the 2-day Special Topic Focus if they completed a previous PPI between 2010-2016. The special topic focus for 2017 is "Equity and Access to High Quality Public Education: National Policy Directions to Address Educational Disparities". Two-Day Special Topic participants are welcome to join the Day 2 afternoon session which will have a featured speaker addressing the theme of the PPI and our advocacy efforts on Capitol Hill on Day 3 at no additional cost. We do ask that all 2-Day Special Topic participants interested in attending either the Day 2 featured speaker or the Capitol Hill day notify us in advance that they will be joining the group so that we can ensure that you receive all information needed. Additionally, we ask that 2-Day Special Topic participants share information about all Capitol Hill appointments scheduled and coordinate your visits with other PPI participants that may be from your state.
What Does My Registration Include?
Registration for the 3-day and 5-day participants includes all handouts and materials, a networking reception, selected meals, and a $10 Metro ticket to enable transportation to/from Capitol Hill. Registration for the 2-Day Special Topic Focus includes breakfast, lunch and a snack each day, handouts and materials, and access to the online materials website. Participants will earn NASP-approved Continuing Professional Development credit or GW graduate semester credit.
How Many CPDs Can I Earn?
Three-Day participants earn a minimum of 11 CPDs. Five-Day participants earn a minimum of 21 CPDs. Two-Day Special Topic participants earn a minimum of 10 CPDs.
