NASP Advocacy Roadmaps contain a set of tools and resources to help you plan effective advocacy strategies for specific issues important to school psychology.

NASP Advocacy Roadmap: Framework for Safe and Successful Schools
This Advocacy Roadmap contains a set of resources to help individuals and state associations advocate for the recommended policies and practices to improve school safety. You are encouraged to consult these resources to help you organize and plan for your professional and/or legislative advocacy activities. These materials can, and should be adapted to meet the unique needs of your local communities and states. Ensuring that schools adopt evidence-based policy and practice related to student safety is critical, and your advocacy and help make every school a safe and successful one. It is our hope that you will share your ideas and experiences with NASP leaders for possible inclusion in this Toolkit.

NASP Advocacy Roadmap: The NASP Practice Model
The Model for Comprehensive and Integrated School Psychological Services (also known as the NASP Practice Model) is a set of tools to help individuals and state associations plan their grassroots advocacy efforts related to the promotion and adoption of the NASP Practice Model. This Advocacy Roadmap will provide individuals and state associations with some key materials and resources to plan an advocacy response within the context of the NASP Practice Model.

NASP Advocacy Roadmap: Preserving and Promoting School Psychological Services
This is a set of tools designed to help individuals and state associations plan their grassroots advocacy efforts directed at preserving and promoting school psychology and school psychological services.

NASP Advocacy Roadmap: School-Based Medicaid Reimbursement
State associations can use this set of resources to help plan their grassroots advocacy response to changes in school-based psychological services to Medicaid eligible students. The Roadmap will provide states with key materials and resources to plan your association's response. State association leaders and members need to actively monitor and respond to any changes in school-based psychological services and limitations placed upon these services provided by school psychologists.
