Carolyn T. Cobb
ABSTRACT: The question of whether it is time to establish the doctorate entry-level for school psychology is viewed in the context of NASP’s history and the reason for its format ion, as well as changes that have occurred since that time. Several factors are discussed that might cause us to reassess our 20-year position of non-doctoral entry for all independent practice settings. Economic, professional, and member attitude factors are cited.
