A Longitudinal Study of an Indirect Service Case

ABSTRACT: A case involving teacher and parental consultation over a three year period is presented. The conduct of the case, analysis of consultant decisions, and forces affecting the child, consultant, and school personnel are presented. The critical skill of identifying the most strategic caregivers in a child’s life is highlighted as particularly important for practicing psychologists.
