A Review of the Perkins-Binet Tests of Intelligence fort he Blind With Suggestions for Administration

ABSTRACT: Psychologists have a new instrument to assess both the verbal and performance functions of low vision and blind children now that the Perkins-Binet Tests of Intelligence for the Blind have been completed. The purpose of this article is to review the essential features of the Perkins-Binet and to discuss problems and limitations in the test kit and manual. Recommendations are also made for smoother administration of both forms of the test.
