To what extent can the future of school psychology be shaped by the performance of practitioners? Although Grimes recognizes the necessity of collective effort by school psychology practitioners in the schools, psychologists with administrative responsibilities, and colleagues in school psychology training programs, the overwhelming burden of responsibility seems to rest on practitioners.
