Recently, I heard of a job opening for a supervisor of thirty-five school psychologists in a large, urban school district. As a practicing school psychologist, I pondered the personal and professional characteristics needed to fill this demanding role and defined the qualifications and skills that I would look for were I in the position of selecting the “perfect” supervisor.
