Notes for the School Psychologist
Three new research and theoretical themes within the field of developmental psychology are of extreme importance to the school psychologist. The first theme deals with the important distinction between cognitive competence and behavioral performance, the second with the importance of social class on cognitive performance, and the third with the role of uncertainty on motivational development.
