Patterns of Adolescent Drug Use in Middle America

Middle American communities are increasingly looking toward the school to provide drug education. However, the urgent demand for preventive and rehabilitative programs increases the likelihood of erroneous, ineffective, and harmful attempts at corrective action. Effective programs for amelioration must be based on reliable data reflecting the accurate incidence of drug use.
