Editorial Note: Improving Academic Competence for All Students

pp. 339—340

A critical goal for the profession of school psychology is to improve the academic competence of all learners. This goal was identified as one of the five major priorities of the profession at the Conference on the Future of School Psychology [see School Psychology Review, 33(1), 2004]. Because many of the articles in this issue pertain to strategies to improve academic competence for all students, they were grouped together to address this special topic.
