The Gifted Child With Learning Disabilities

pp. 56—58

The topic of this paper seems like a contradiction, a dichotomy, but in reality individuals embodying this apparent paradox do exist and perform outstandingly. Leonardo da Vinci, Woodrow Wilson, Albert Einstein, Winston Churchill and Igor Sikorsky are but a few of the more eminent examples who have exhibited these supposedly antithetical qualities. The definition, identification and ameliorative procedures and programs for this group of children will be discussed in this paper.
