The model of practice for school psychologists as health-care providers outlined by Nastasi (2000) presents some exciting and significant challenges to our profession in the years to come. In this brief article, I will highlight some of the reforms required of the profession to respond to these challenges and I will describe implications for the training of practitioners in the future.
