Will the Real School Psychologist Please Stand Up?
Many of us in NASP have been involved in promoting the professional interests and potential of school psychologists over the last few years. Our activities have involved us with the U. S. Congress, several governmental agencies, a variety of national groups, and many state legislatures. Our work is for the purpose of developing a constituency, a base of extra-professional support, for school psychological services. If the fiscal support to school psychology is to continue and, hopefully, be expanded, support from the lay public is critical.
