School Psychology Review’s second issue of 1996 introduces a new special section: Children, Research, and Public Policy. It will appear periodically over the next few years, typically including only one or two invited or unsolicited articles. The special section will contain reviews of research or original reports of research and will focus on the impact of the research for national, state, community, or school district policies and practices for children and families. The “Guidelines for Authors,” located at the end of the issue, describe specific procedures for submitting manuscripts for possible publication in this special section. We welcome your manuscripts and recommendations for the special section.
