Editor's Comments: 25th Anniversary of School Psychology Review

School Psychology Review’s third issue of 1996 contains a mini-series on “Implications of DSM-IV for the Practice of School Psychology.” The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) has had a long history of use in psychiatric and mental health settings, and, as pointed out by guest editors Thomas Power and George DuPaul, the publication of the fourth edition of DSM (DSM-IV) has been anticipated eagerly by mental health professionals across the United States.
