During the preparation of this miniseries,I was reminded constantly of the many advances made in our understanding of Attention-deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), while at the same time aware of the many questions still unanswered.Basic knowledge of the characteristics,the neurobiological basis, and the pharmacological treatment of ADHD has been advanced by extensive research into these topics. However, further research with this population is needed on the efficacy of specific classroom interventions,social skills training, parent training,and service delivery.
