Prescriptive Teaching From WISC Patterns
I.H. Wills, N. Banas
pp. 37-38
The authors describe three WISC patterns of subtest scores which they believe have direct implications for remedial educational programs. The Vulnerable Child is described as one who has high Similarities and Block Design scores; low Information and Picture Completion and Coding scores. His writing is messy, spelling poor, but his reading is good, and he thinks well. He is described as requiring a strong associative approach to aid him in the rapid recall of symbol meanings.
