Suggestions for Funding PREPaRE Trainings
These suggestions come from the 2007 New Orleans Training of Trainers workshop participants.
- Grant options that may be appropriate for PREPaRE workshops:
- Safe and Drug Free School grants
- Secure Our Schools (SOS) federal grant
- US DOE Emergency Response and Crisis Management (ERCM) grants
- In addition, some counties may budget funds (sometimes provided by states) for projects that benefit children and families (check with your county commissioners/offices of education)
- Local professional development funds
- State school psychology association workshops
