NASP Partners with Born This Way Foundation (BTWF) for Born Brave Bus Tour (BBBT)
NASP is excited to be partnering with the Born This Way Foundation on its Born Brave Bus Tour (BBBT) (PDF), kicking off in conjunction with Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Ball concert tour. The BBBT provides a safe space for young people to connect with on-site local, community resources including behavioral and mental health services, school psychologists, mentoring, volunteer opportunities and bullying and suicide prevention resources.
NASP is one of two national behavioral health frontline partners, joined by the National Council on Behavioral Health. Together we represent the important collaboration between school and community mental health. NASP volunteers will partner with National Council volunteers at each event to share information with youth regarding mental wellness, positive coping, and when and how to get help if needed.
As part of this effort, NASP and the National Council developed BraveryTips.org, a website geared towards youth with empowerment and mental health resources and information.
