SY027: Transnational-Global Considerations in School Psychology Training and Practice

This symposium will introduce and discuss conceptual, methodological and practical definitions and interpretations of transnational/ global theory, practice and training in school psychology. The panel will present a multicultural/ transnational perspective and considerations in school psychology as well as an expanded conceptualization of multicultural competence—intercultural or transcultural competence. Global and transnational parameters in the areas of supervision, consultation and prevention of school psychology will be provided.
