PI027: A Review Of iPad Applications Focused On Writing

Practice and feedback are important components of effective writing instruction. Technology can help provide individualized practice and feedback more efficiently to students. More specifically, iPad writing apps may be convenient and useful sources of practice and feedback for students. In this presentation, summaries and critiques will be provided for ten iPad writing apps. These critiques will include information on the addressed writing skill(s), target age group, and several indicators of app quality.
