SY020: Schoolbased Implementation of Evidencebased Interventions: Understanding Facilitators Barriers and Sustainability

Wednesday, February 19, 2014 8:30 AM–9:50 AM

Schools are increasingly encouraged to adopt evidence-based practices (EBPs). However, schools have unique factors that influence the quality of implementation of interventions. Three papers are presented with a focus on factors associated with implementation of EBPs across elementary, middle, and high school contexts. The goal of this symposium is to share lessons learned, ways to align implementation of EBPs with existing resources, and considerations about the infrastructure needed to launch and sustain comprehensive service models.
