MS076: Using Response to Instruction and Intervention for SLD Determination

Response to Intervention is offered as a viable method for determining SLD eligibility. How, specifically is the RtI framework used to fulfill this function? The purpose of this presentation is to provide participates with: a rationale for RtI, a detailed description of a fully functioning RtI framework and a detailed description of how SLD eligibility is determine. Participate will learn advantages of RtI, how to specifically determine eligibility and legal issues related to RtI.
