PA054: Technical Adequacy of a Screener of Behavioral and Emotional Risk

Wednesday, February 19, 2014 8:30 AM–9:20 AM

Emerging research has resulted in the development and initial validation of the Social, Academic, and Emotional Behavior Risk Screener (SAEBRS), a novel universal screener of social-emotional risk. The purpose of this presentation is to review findings from four studies, which have yielded evidence of SAEBRS factor structure, concurrent validity, and diagnostic accuracy across elementary and high school settings. Attendees will receive information regarding how the SAEBRS may be integrated into multi-tiered models of service delivery.
