PO056: Development and Initial Validation of an Emotional Risk Screener

Wednesday, February 19, 2014 3:00 PM–4:30 PM

The purpose of this session is to review the development and initial validation of an emotional behavior subscale of the Social, Academic, and Emotional Behavior Risk Screener (SAEBRS). Reviewed results will include confirmatory factor analyses indicative of item dimensionality, bivariate correlations representative of subscale concurrent validity, and receiver operating characteristic curve analyses indicative of scale diagnostic accuracy. Session attendees will be provided with an overview of universal screening in general, and the SAEBRS in particular.
