PA038: Transition Services: Linking Research to Practice

This presentation introduces participants to current evidence-based transition strategies. Participants will gain an understanding of how transition services improve post school outcomes and attribute to a higher quality of life for students with disabilities. As a result of attending, participants will be able to: (i) identify evidence-based strategies; (ii) recognize barriers in employment, education, and independent living; (iii) understand the vital role school psychologists serve in advocating for best practice transition services.
