PA037: Mental Health and Academic Performance: A Study of Adolescent Girls

Description:

Previous research has found a relationship between positive and negative mental health factors and academic performance among school-age students. This study will examine the relationship between mental health problems, positive indicators of mental health, and academic performance among a normative sample of middle school girls. Attendees will gain an understanding of the unique vulnerabilities of early adolescent girls as well as how mental health factors are related to students’ academic performance.
