PO025: Attachment and Disclosure to Mothers: Adjustment During the College Transition

Description:

The transition from high school to college is a critical and stressful event for many emerging adults. The results of a research project that examined the social and emotional adjustment trajectories of students during the transition from high school to the first year of college will be presented. Attendees will also learn about the role of students' attachment and disclosure to mothers as predictors of students' coping with new college demands.
