PO019: Persistence on High School Exit Exams: Risk and Protective Factors

This poster focuses on the psychological and ecological factors related to persistence in attempting to pass a high school exit exam (HSEE). The objectives are to advance school psychologists’ knowledge about (a) protective and risk factors related to persistence on a HSEE among socio-economically disadvantaged individuals and English language learners; and (b) the advantages of using qualitative interview data in taking a strength-based approach to helping these individuals.
