PO012: Content Generalization and Assessment Tools in the Incredible Years Program


How do students generalize content they learn in a small group social skills intervention and which assessment tools should be used to determine growth? This poster will outline how students learn content and how that learning is demonstrated in the classroom through direct assessments, rating scales, and standardized instruments. Practitioners will learn how to promote generalization across contexts and select assessment tools that accurately reflect behavior change through a social skills curriculum.
