PO007: Subjective Perceptions of School-Based Response to Natural Disasters

Given the increase in the incidence of natural disasters in the last forty years and the important role of schools during disasters, it stands to reason that school-based mental health professionals need to know all they can about how to assist children during times of natural disaster. The purpose of this study is to examine parents’, teachers’, and students’ perceptions of school-based crises response and related mental health services during times of natural disaster.
