PO003: Transgender Policies and Accommodations in Schools: Implications for School Psychologists


Research pertaining to transgender individuals has been overlooked within the larger LGBT community. Supporting transgender students via policy development, accommodations, and school psychology services is critical to optimize their potential for success in school. The results of the current research study will provide the range of practitioners with information on trends and best practices that can benefit transgender students in the public school system.
