PO002: A Metacognitive Intervention for Early Math Learners
Description: This study examined the development of metacognitive skills in young mathematics learners. The poster session will include discussion of the development of metacognitive skills in young learners (aged 6-7 years old) and will examine a metacognitive intervention of teacher modeling through thinking cards. Participants will benefit by learning how early metacognitive skills impact mathematics learning and strategies that can be implemented to foster these skills.
