WS035: Treating Anxiety in Youth: Computer-Assisted and Web-Based Programs

Friday, February 21, 2014 8:30 AM–11:30 AM

This workshop will describe the use of a computer assisted program, Camp Cope-A-Lot, for treating youth anxiety using cognitive–behavioral treatment. It will provide case examples of the program's 12 modules, which teach children how to recognize their anxious feelings and learn coping methods. A web-based program for parents of anxious youth, Child Anxiety Tales (available from Coping Cat Parents), also will be described and shown.
