WS006: Comparing Symptoms of Executive Dysfunction, ADHD, NLD, and Asperger's Syndrome

Tuesday, February 18, 2014 6:00 PM–9:00 PM

Due to comorbidity and similarity of clinical presentation, diagnosing executive dysfunction, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), nonverbal learning disorder (NLD), and Asperger's syndrome can be confusing. Through the use of lecture, video clips, and activities, this workshop will bring some clarity to the role and importance of executive dysfunction and its presentation in these diagnoses. It is designed to provide clinicians with key symptoms of each disorder and will also delineate practical strategies for academic settings.
