WS023: Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy With Adolescents in Schools: An Interactive Workshop

This workshop will teach participants how to conduct cognitive–behavioral therapy (CBT) with adolescents in school settings. Participants will learn how to (a) determine if CBT is a good fit for a student, (b) create a case conceptualization and treatment plan, (c) teach the CBT model to students, (d) structure sessions to foster therapeutic momentum, (e) create Socratic dialogues, and (f) monitor student progress. Learning strategies will include didactic teaching, role-playing, group discussion, and video modeling.
