PI035: Critical Skills to Know NOW: Technology in School Psychological Practice

Many technology tools that promise to lighten a school psychologist’s workload and increase outcomes for students are available. Yet, many school psychologists either avoid technology all together or unintentionally misuse it. In this workshop, the presenters will cover critical tools in data-based decision making, issues inherent in the misuse of technology, and the social and emotional effects of social networking on student outcomes. Participants will be able to test out different devices and applications.
