SY039: Trauma-Focused School Psychology


This symposium describes a Trauma Focused School Psychology training program that seeks to address the critical demand for school psychologists who can meet the needs of students exposed to trauma. The four papers describe the training program and activities, implemented through university-school-community agency partnerships, which provided experiences in practice, research, and policy. Participants are expected to gain knowledge and skills related to developing and implementing Trauma-Focused School Psychology training, practice, research, and policy.
