Become a Convention Proposal Reviewer

Become a proposal reviewer for the NASP 2014 Annual Convention in Washington, DC, February 18-21, 2014. The review of presentation proposals is one of the most critical tasks in creating an outstanding convention program. It is your opportunity to directly influence the content of the convention.

Reviewers must be NASP members. Student members who have completed the research methodology sequence of their training programs may also serve.

We anticipate receiving approximately 1,500 proposals, each of which will be anonymously reviewed by three reviewers. The reviews will be completed online during the month of July. Each reviewer will be asked to review approximately 25 proposals.  Proposals are brief (a maximum of only 800 words), and specific instructions are provided for rating proposals. We estimate that it will take approximately 5 hours to complete the task.

To become a reviewer, send your name, NASP member number and e-mail address to convention@naspweb.org no later than Wednesday, June 19, 2013. Make sure that the e-mail address you provide is one that you use regularly during the summer months.

The time you provide in reviewing proposals may count toward continuing professional development hours for NCSP renewal, depending on your personal evaluation of the educational value of the experience.

The 2014 Convention Committee and convention attendees thank you, in advance, for your help and contribution to the convention!
