Payment Methods

Payment must be made in full at the time of registration and may be made by Visa, MasterCard, check, or money order only. Please submit a separate registration form and payment for each individual attending the convention; checks covering more than one person’s registration cannot be accepted. Please note that NASP is unable to accept purchase orders.

Registration Confirmations

Online registrations will be confirmed immediately via e-mail. Mailed registrations will be confirmed via e-mail, if provided, or via fax or mail, if not. Please review all information for accuracy upon receipt of your confirmation. If you do not receive your acknowledgment within 7 business days, or if there is an error, call NASP Registration at (800) 811-5947 or (703) 449-6418, or e-mail naspregistration@jspargo.com.

NASP Convention Registration Area

Register on site for the convention; purchase tickets for optional events including NASP Convention Workshops, Documented Sessions, and special events; register a guest; and purchase Session Recording Packages in the NASP Convention Registration Area located in Hall 4-D Skybridge in the Washington State Convention Center.

Daily Registration

Daily registrations will be available online beginning in January 2013, and on site in the NASP Convention Registration Area.

Guest Registration

Guest registrations are available for individuals who are not school psychologists or other pupil-services personnel. Guests must be accompanied by a registered attendee, and there is a limit of one guest per registered attendee. Guests who register for $25 and receive a name badge will be permitted access to the Exhibit Hall and opening night welcome party. Guests may not attend educational sessions.

Changes and Cancellations

NASP Convention Workshops, Documented Sessions, and special events can be added, changed, or canceled online. Because of space constraints, some changes may not be possible. If you registered online, check your e-mail confirmation for the link to make changes to your registration. If you registered by mail, call NASP Registration at (800) 811-5947 or (703) 449-6418, or e-mail your request to naspregistration@jspargo.com.

Registrations may be canceled by a written request only, either mailed to J. Spargo & Associates, 11208 Waples Mill Road, Suite 112, Fairfax, VA 22030, or e-mailed to naspregistration@jspargo.com. For registration fees to be refunded, cancellations must be received on or before January 16, 2013. A $50 administrative fee will be deducted from all refunds.

Individuals interested in submitting registration fee refund requests after the January 16, 2013, deadline may send an email message to convention@naspweb.org or a letter addressed to the Meetings and Conventions Department at NASP Headquarters. Please note that any available documentation that may be appropriate to support late refund requests must be included. Written registration fee refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis after the convention.

All registration fee refunds will be processed within approximately one month after the convention. Registrants are responsible for canceling their own travel and hotel arrangements.

Sponsored Sessions

Certain NASP convention educational sessions are financially supported by publishing companies or other sponsoring organizations. NASP is appreciative of this important support. Presenters of sponsored sessions often are the sponsoring organizations’ employees or authors. Convention participants benefit from in-depth professional development in these sessions but should understand that authors’ published materials are likely to be emphasized in their presentations.

Children and Infants

Children and infants are welcome at the NASP convention as long as they are accompanied by an adult at all times and are not disruptive to convention activities. NASP does not encourage the presence of children in educational sessions. Attendees with infants should sit near an exit and leave the session if necessary.
