WS43: Cognitive Hypothesis Testing: Assessment Data That Drives Evidence-Based Intervention

Friday, February 15, 2013 8:30 AM–3:30 PM

Designed to provide best practices in combining response to intervention (RTI) with comprehensive school neuropsychological evaluation, this workshop provides attendees with data-based problem-solving strategies for use in a multitier instructional and intervention framework. For nonresponders to evidence-based RTI interventions, attendees will learn the cognitive hypothesis testing (CHT) approach for making child assessment data relevant for targeted academic and behavioral intervention. Lecture, discussion, and a small group case study exercise will foster CHT understanding and skill development.
