Driving & Parking

Make the breathtaking drive to Seattle for the convention. With views of the Pacific Ocean if you’re coming from the north or south, and picturesque national parks if you’re coming from the east, getting to the convention will be an experience in and of itself. Just two and a half hours from Vancouver, three hours from Portland, and four and a half hours from Spokane, driving to the convention is an option you’ll want to consider. Carpool with others coming from your district to cut down on costs and find affordable parking options for once you get here!

The Washington State Convention Center is conveniently located in downtown Seattle and is easily accessible from I-5 and I-90. The main entrance to the convention center is on the corner of 8th Avenue and Pike Street.

From I-5 Southbound to the Convention Center Garage
(Primary Entrance on 8th Avenue)

  • I-5 Southbound
  • Stewart Street Exit (#166)
  • Left on Boren Avenue
  • Right on Seneca Street
  • Right on 8th Avenue
  • Garage entrance is on your right

From I-5 Northbound and I-90 Westbound to the Convention Center Garage
(Primary Entrance on 8th Avenue)

  • I-5 Northbound
  • Madison Street Exit (#164A)
  • Right on Madison Street
  • Left on 8th Avenue
  • Garage entrance is on your right

 

Parking Information
Downtown Seattle has plenty of affordable parking options. You can use this interactive map to find public parking and compare rates.

If you are planning on parking in the convention center main garage, take your parking ticket with you as you leave your vehicle. You will need it to pay at one of the automated pay stations before you leave.
