Our unique logo will be featured on our longsleeve t-shirt, along with each of our state association sponsors on the reverse. As well, maps and course descriptions will be available onsite and at our website for your “Do-It-Yourself” participation.
This year's event is “DIY” (Do-It-Yourself). The “DIY” concept is our best option in a venue where snow and ice are possibilities. “DIY” means there is no formally organized or timed event. Instead, we offer assorted routes and maps for each participant to run or walk on a day/time of their choosing and/or the option to participate in small, informally led group walks or runs. The “DIY” format keeps overhead low—particularly avoiding heavy fees for bad-weather cancellations--and amplifies our charitable gift.
Though your registration fee is not tax deductible, all proceeds after expenses benefit Girls on the Run (GOTR) (Montgomery County PA chapter) —educating and preparing girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living via a curriculum of running, group supports, and thoughtful core values.
