attendees. Overnight guests of the hotel who identify themselves as NASP
convention attendees will receive the parking discount at checkout. Attendees
who park for the day and are not staying at the Hyatt should stop by the NASP Convention

discounted one-way or round-trip share-ride van service to/from Chicago O’Hare

Attire
Business casual attire is
appropriate for all convention activities. As a reminder, meeting room temperatures and personal comfort levels vary widely.
We recommend that you bring a sweater or jacket.
Guests, Children,
and Infants
Guests, who may not be NASP
members, may register for $25 and receive a name badge that will give them access to the Exhibit Hall and official
convention social functions. Guests may register at the
Assisted Registration counter in the NASP Convention Registration Area, located in
the Grand Ballroom Foyer on the Gold Level in the East Tower of
the Hyatt Regency
Chicago. Guests must be
accompanied by a registered participant who has paid the full registration fee. A
limit of one guest per paid attendee will be in place.
Children and infants are welcome at the NASP convention as
long as they are accompanied by an adult at all times and are not at all
disruptive to convention activities. NASP does not encourage the presence of
children in educational sessions. Attendees with infants in educational
sessions are asked to sit near an exit. If attempts to quiet an infant are
unsuccessful, please leave the session and return when the infant is settled.
Exhibit Hall
The Exhibit Hall, located in the
Riverside
Center
on the Purple Level of the Hyatt Regency Chicago, will be open during the

Providing Your Contact Information to Exhibitors
Scan your Exhibit Hall identification card to provide your
contact information at the booths of all vendors exhibiting products or
services that interest you. This will enable vendors to follow up with you
after the convention to keep you informed of valuable information about their
products and services. Please be aware
that all information captured on the registration form, except your home and
cell phone numbers, will be included on your Exhibit Hall identification card.
Do not swipe your ID card in the booths of any vendors whom you do not wish to
receive your contact information.
NASP-Approved
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Credit
Participants may earn
NASP-approved CPD credit by attending NASP
Convention Workshops. The number of CPD credits available is
specified in the information about each workshop. Participants who attend
convention workshops can pick up CPD letters of attendance verification on site
at the end of each workshop. Please note that CPD letters of attendance
verification will not be mailed to attendees. Participants must arrive on time
and stay until the end of the workshop and complete an evaluation to receive a
letter of attendance.
Additionally, Participants may
earn 1.33 credit hours of NASP-approved CPD
credit by attending each of the eight 80-minute NASP-approved CPD special sessions. By attending
all eight CPD sessions, participants will earn 10 hours and 40 minutes of CPD
credit (10.67 credit hours).
For CPD purposes, Exhibit Hall identification cards
will be scanned at the entrance to the NASP-approved CPD sessions to record
attendance. Please be sure to have your card with you if you plan to attend any
of these sessions.
