The Department of Education announced this week that they are now accepting applications for the Elementary and Secondary School Counseling Program (ESSCP) awards. These grants can be used to increase the range, availability, quantity and quality of counseling services; expand counseling services through qualified school counselors, social works and school psychologists, and provide funding for in-service training for school personnel in appropriate identification and early intervention techniques.
