NASP
Education and Research Trust, Inc.
The Education and Research Trust, Inc. (ERT)
was established with the purpose of serving the mental health and educational
needs of all children and youth and to encourage and provide opportunities
for the growth of school psychology as a professional specialty. ERT also
assists with the educational advancement of minority individuals in the
profession of school psychology and works to inform the public about the
services and practice of school psychology in the schools. The ERT Board
works to advance the standards of the profession of school psychology to
the benefit of all children and youth through annual scholarships to NASP
members who submit award winning proposals.
Programs
The NASP-Education
and Research Trust, Inc. (ERT) encompasses several programs:
- NASP-ERT Minority Scholarship Program. The NASP-ERT Minority Scholarship Program annually awards $5,000
scholarships to minority students enrolled in graduate programs in school

- ERT Research Grant. The ERT annually awards at least one Research
Grant to a deserving NASP member whose proposal exemplifies the stated
purpose of the ERT. Grants may be awarded in amounts up to $1,000. Revised
2005 Application and Deadline: TBD. Contact: Kathy Leighton (President,

- Paul H. Henkin Trust. This endowment is awarded to one NASP Annual
Convention presenter and provides funding for that individual to attend
and present at the Annual Convention. NASP members who have recently been
credentialed as school psychologists are eligible for consideration. Contact: Marcia

All donations are welcomed!!! To help ERT fulfill its mission,
